Learn how to create and assign tours
Getting Started
WolfPack Central's advanced planning feature is named "Tours." A Tour consolidates a series of trips and experiences spanning from one to multiple days into a single, sharable package. This offers a powerful tool to assemble comprehensive packages for sharing with clients. Each tour can encompass written descriptions, captivating cover images, route details, and scheduling, all within a unified framework.
The essential components of a tour include:
A Tour Description with Cover Image
The number of Days in the tour
And for each day, the trips your clients will see and be able to access.

Tips and Suggestions
Before you start, make sure to select a name and a cover photo. These are essential elements for the next step.
Autosaving: Once you've established the name and cover image, WolfPack automatically saves your work as you construct your tour.
And here's a hack to creating tours: Begin by creating trips in the library. This approach grants you enhanced flexibility. By treating each trip as a template in the trip library first, you can seamlessly integrate it into various tours, generate multiple versions of a tour with diverse combinations of trips, and unlock a world of possibilities for customization.
Creating a Basic Tour
Here are the main steps to creating your first tour:
1 - To initiate the tour creation process, navigate to the Tours screen and select the "Create Tour Template" option.

2 - Enter Basic Information: If you've viewed our tips video, you're aware that having a name and cover image prepared is recommended. Enter these details, and WolfPack will begin to autosave your work from here.

3 - Add Time Zone and Description: Just below the time zone selector, which allows you to set the scheduling time zone, you'll discover a rich-text editor. Here, you can craft a descriptive text that your clients will see. Feel free to experiment with headings, lists, and other formatting options to highlight specific details.

4 - Manage Days: To add Days to the tour, simply use the dedicated button. You have the choice to add them all at once or tackle them day by day.
5 - Add Trips to Each Day: For each day, you can incorporate one or more trips. The initial trips are pulled from the Trips library, but you also have the option to directly add a trip to the tour.

You can enhance each trip by adding a cover image, such as a photo of the destination you're visiting. Alternatively, you can skip this step to display a map of the route to your customers.

Finally, ensure the day's order meets your preferences and include start times for each trip. WolfPack automatically applies the chosen time zone. Any issues with the time or order of trips will cause a small yellow alert to appear, allowing you to make adjustments as needed.

Working with Trips
Trips form the individual experiences in each day of the tour. There are a few ways to work with trips.
Add a Trip from the Library: Choose a day, then click "Add Trip," and select the "Add from Library" option. A user-friendly searchable list of your Trip Library items will be presented. You can add one or multiple trips from the library at the same time.
Plan a Trip Inside the Tour: The other option is to plan a trip just for the tour. Doing this will not add the trip to your library. The planning interface is exactly the same as for the Trip Library. Once saved it will be added to that day's trips.
Once you have your trips for the day in place, the last steps are to optionally add cover images. These images appear on your travelers' mobile devices, replacing the default trip route image.
Working with Points of Interest
The destinations within your tour can be enriched with additional information, imagery, and categories.
When planning a trip for a tour, there are two ways to add details:
Click on the icon next to any point and fill out details
Select the Point of Interest option to search and find saved points of interest.
When instead importing a trip from the library, any Points of Interest that are part of that trip automatically pass into your tour.
Assigning Tours
You can easily assign a tour to one or more tour groups. To assign a tour, follow these steps:
1 - Locate the desired tour you want to assign and access the view/edit option.

2 - At the bottom, find the "Assign" button, which opens a window for selecting the groups.

3 - Unlike a trip, a tour is already equipped with days and start times. Thus, the only action required is to choose the tour's start day, automatically generating the schedule accordingly.

4 - If you've selected more than one group, you can choose to give each group the same start day or assign a different start day for each.
5 - Press "Update" to complete the assignment of the tour.
