Trips
WolfPack provides you with the capability to establish a library of trip ideas from description to route. Each trip within this library can be easily duplicated, modified, and allocated to one or multiple groups as needed.
You can also save trips as described here and use them as parts of a tour. See help on Tours.
Create a Basic Trip
Here's how to create a trip:
1 - Click on the "Create Trip Template" button.

2 - On the left, you'll find the trip details, while the right side features a dynamic map that updates as you plan the route.
3 - Begin by naming the trip, then select the suitable mode of travel.

4 - Input the starting and destination points, and once you've done that, simply save it.

This creates the trip. It involves only two locations; the next section describes how to add more customization.
Customizing Trips
To customize a trip with more locations, add or edit a trip, verify that a start and destination are defined, then do the following:
To set a waypoint, press "add waypoint" to either search for an address or bring in a previously saved Point of Interest.
Alternatively, set a waypoint by dragging anywhere on the route line to automatically put a waypoint exactly where you want.

If you make a mistake, press the undo button just below the map. When ready, press Save to save the customized trip to your library.
Adding Waypoint Details
You can enrich each point in a trip with additional information that's included as part of your trip or tour materials.
For any point on the route, add optional details as follows:
Click the "i" icon next to a point and provide a name, type, description, image, and even a website for further information. Once you've entered these details, click "save" to store them.
Press the menu icon and Select Saved POI. This opens a search of your saved Points of Interest. Selecting a POI will pull in the location and all saved details into the trip.
Save the trip once done. All of this information will be available on your client's mobile apps when they view the trip or tour plans.
Assigning Trips to Groups
After organizing your groups, you have the ability to assign trip templates from your library to one or multiple groups. Here's how to do it:
1 - On the Trips screen, tap on the row corresponding to the template you wish to assign. Press the "Assign Trip" option.

2 - Choose the specific group or groups you want to assign the trip to.

3 - Set the schedule for the trip, where you can use the same dates for all or assign dates individually for each group.

4 - Finally, click "Update." As a result, a copy of the trip will automatically be sent to each selected group, and members of those groups will instantly see it in their Wolfpack app.
Advanced: Sharing Trips Between Organizations
This feature applies for organizations who share trips with other organizations through WolfPack Central.
WolfPack offers a powerful feature that enables you to share a trip externally with another organization. This comes in handy, especially when you have a partner who wants to leverage a fantastic tour you've created, allowing them to avoid starting from scratch.
Sharing a trip with another organization
1 - On the Trips screen, select a template.
2 - After the row expands, click on "share trip." This action will generate a one-time code.
3 - Copy this code to your clipboard by selecting the corresponding icon. It's important to note that this code can only be used once, and a new code is generated each time you press the "share" option.
Importing a trip from another organization
1 - In the Trips Library, click on "Import Template."
2 - Paste the code in the field and press "Import."
After doing so, Central will display a confirmation and add an independent copy of the template to the list.
Any changes made by you or your partner to the shared trip won't impact each other's versions. The copy they received is independent.
